Pizza Kale Chips

I’m currently obsessed with Pizza flavored Kale chips.

I know what you’re thinking. Why even put the word pizza in the same sentence with kale? Well, I’m back on my #weddingdiet full swing and I need dis. Trust me, they’re good! Adam even said so—and he keeps our neighborhood Papa John’s in business, singlehandedly.

I like to buy the pre-cut kale from Trader Joe’s. The kind that comes on the stalk is for peasants. You’ll pay a little more for the pre-cut version, but it’s just so easy.


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line your baking pan with aluminum foil and just dump your bag of pre-cut kale into it! All of my metal bake-ware is from Sur La Table. It is the Platinum Professional (DUH) 7-piece Bake-ware set found here. (LOOK! IT’S ON SALE! You need dis.)

Roast for 40 minutes or until the Kale is crispy. (Due to oven variances, how big your baking dish is, and how much kale you have, roasting time may differ. I recommend checking on your chips about every 10 minutes. Give your kale a good ol’ tossin’ each time you check on it.)

Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil and top with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper (remember, there is no other way!), dried basil, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Toss around until the kale is coated. Don’t bother to measure anything out, just give it a healthy sprinkle!

Put back in the oven for a few more minutes and you’re done!
